Dr. Sadek Debwan, Medical Director

Dr. Sadek Debwan is a Neurologist with a focused clinical practice in mental health, behavioral disorders, addiction-related illness, and complex neuropsychiatric conditions. He specializes in the comprehensive evaluation and long-term management of patients with co-occurring neurological, psychiatric, and substance-use disorders, emphasizing compassionate, individualized, and recovery-oriented care.

Dr. Debwan holds a Doctor of Medicine, a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from UCLA, and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Pepperdine University. He completed his undergraduate studies in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at the University of California, Davis, a background that strongly informs his integrative approach to treating disorders at the intersection of brain function, behavior, and mental health. He previously served as Chief Resident Physician during his postgraduate training in Miami, Florida.

His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of addiction-related neurological conditions, substance-induced psychiatric disorders, and cognitive and behavioral changes associated with chronic substance use, as well as neurological complications encountered during detoxification and rehabilitation. Dr. Debwan has experience in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and incorporates neuromodulation and advanced therapeutic technologies when clinically appropriate. He remains committed to offering patients access to the latest FDA-approved treatments and emerging medical technologies, ensuring care that reflects the most current advances in neuroscience and behavioral health.

Dr. Debwan works closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams across detox, inpatient, residential, and outpatient rehabilitation settings, developing evidence-based treatment plans that address both the neurobiological and psychosocial dimensions of illness.
